Frequently Asked Questions
How Does Therapy Work?
Together, we’ll clarify your goals and values, explore past coping patterns, and develop new strategies that support greater ease and fulfillment. As we navigate this process, I’ll help you work through difficult emotions with care—addressing the heart, mind, and spirit in an integrated, holistic way.
What Should I Expect?
Sessions may feel light or heavy—both are welcome. There’s space for your full range of emotions, and I follow your lead, focusing on what feels most present and important to you. As we explore your past, present, and future, I’ll help you make meaningful connections that support growth, healing, and lasting change.
Fees and Insurance
Therapy is a meaningful investment in your life, often leading to unexpected growth in confidence, self-worth, and opportunity. My fee is $350 per session, with limited sliding scale spots available. I’m in-network with Aetna and an out-of-network provider for all other plans. You’ll pay directly each week, and I’ll provide a monthly superbill for possible reimbursement through your insurance. You may also use a Healthcare FSA to cover costs.
Figuring Out Your Out-of-Network Benefits
Per your request, my billing administrator can look this up for you.
Good Faith Estimate of Costs
Under the Federal No Surprises Act (2022), all out-of-network providers must inform clients of their rights against unexpected medical bills. As an out-of-network provider, my session fees are clear and consistent—you’ll always know the cost upfront. Surprise bills are highly unlikely, as all policies are reviewed and agreed upon before we begin. I'm always available to answer any billing questions and ensure transparency.
